When I was a girl, my family always gave each other greeting cards. I’d spend hours pouring over cards to pick out the perfect one to make a sister or Mom or Dad laugh or feel special and to let them know I cared.
As a card designer, I enjoy creating cards I hope will make those who open your Tickle Cards laugh or feel special, loved, encouraged, remembered, and know you care.
I imagine the fun you may have surprising a friend who discovers something unexpected inside your Tickle Card, like tiny hand-packaged herbs and spices, a do-it-yourself ‘magic’ pop-up bow, a tea bag to brew, a real Fender guitar pick, plantable garden seeds, confetti (cutely packaged rather than spilling out), wedding rice to toss, even instant snow.
I hope you discover that Tickle Cards give you a special way to celebrate holidays and life’s milestones—births and birthdays, graduation, weddings, retirement. Sympathy touches us at life’s most challenging milestone, a time we often wish we could find just the right words of comfort. I created a deeply felt card for the wife of a friend who passed unexpectedly. Despite the popularity of our many funny, surprising or heartwarming cards, that sympathy card has become our most popular greeting card. We have even heard from some who took the time to email and tell us how much that card meant to them.
